Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements
- Applicants must hold at least ATPL theoretical credit, or a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), or a Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL), together with a valid Instrument Rating (IR) and a certificate confirming completion of an MCC course or equivalent.
- They must meet the applicable operational suitability data (OSD) requirements for the aircraft type rating, whether the type-rating course is combined with operator conversion training or the applicant joins with a type rating on any aircraft operated by Canarias Airlines.
- Candidates must be physically and mentally fit to perform their duties safely under the applicable Part-MED requirements of EU Regulation 1178/2011 and must hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate.
- A passport from an EU member state with more than six months' validity is required.
- Applicants must have at least ICAO English language proficiency Level 4 and Spanish language proficiency Level 5, and must have no criminal record during the previous five years.
- An ATR42/72 variant 600 type rating is valued but is not stated as mandatory.
