About This Role
PAL Aerospace, an Atlantic Canada operator with 50 years of flight operations and a fleet of DHC-8-100/300, Beech King Air, Beech 1900 and managed turboprops and jets, is hiring a Pilot Training Manager for its Newfoundland and Labrador Air Ambulance King Air 350 operation. The role conducts Air Ambulance pilot training end to end - ground school, simulator training, line indoctrination and line checks - and owns Air Ambulance standards and SOPs. Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct Air Ambulance pilot training including ground school, simulator training, line indoctrination and line checks
- Training schedule coordination
- Accountable for the maintenance and development of Air Ambulance Standards and SOPs
- Work closely with the management team to establish training goals and objectives
- Provide mentorship to team members
- Oversight of the Electronic Training Record (ETR) system, continual lesson plan and syllabus development
- Act as liaison for NL Air Ambulance pilot training

Requirements
- Must have experience on King Air 200 or King Air 350
- Valid ATPL
- 2,500 hours total time
- 500 multi-engine hours
- 1,000 PIC hours
- Instrument Rating
- Multi-engine Rating
- Ability to work in a cohesive team environment
- Excellent organizational skills; effective time management and planning
- Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of aerospace operations; experience in document management and developing new procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role
