About This Role
Western Aircraft, Inc. is seeking Second-in-Command team members for its Honolulu, Hawaii base to operate meticulously maintained Pilatus PC-12-47E aircraft among the Hawaiian Islands under an FAA-approved Second-in-Command Professional Development Program. The role supports day-to-day flight operations, guest and client service, company and FAA compliance, and continuous 24-hour coverage seven days a week. The position includes a 16-days-per-month active/reserve commitment, with possible weekends, holidays, overnight stays, and varying outdoor working conditions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as second in command on Pilatus PC-12-47E aircraft, comply with all company procedures, FAA regulations, and best practices, assist with day-to-day operations, deliver exemplary service to guests and clients, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Work is primarily outside an office environment, with moderate noise and varying weather, supporting customer needs and providing twenty-four-hour coverage seven days a week.

Requirements
- Required qualifications include FAA Commercial and Instrument ratings, a first-class medical certificate, residence in Honolulu, Hawaii, a valid driver’s license, the ability to obtain an airport-issued security badge, and successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
- Preferred qualifications include 500 hours of total flight time, 100 hours of turbine time, 100 hours of complex-aircraft time, and PC-12 experience.
- Candidates must commit to 16 days per month in an active/reserve arrangement, accept shifts that may include weekends, holidays, and overnight stays, consistently project professionalism in appearance and conduct, and demonstrate professional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flight-duty and rest requirements remain governed by FAA rules.
