About This Role
Airspeed Aviation, a regional charter operator based in Tamworth NSW, seeks an experienced flight instructor to lead their expanding charter operations and flight training programs. The role combines active charter flying, team leadership, and advanced instruction across a diverse multi-engine fleet, with significant involvement in company growth initiatives. Requirements
- Australian Citizen or current right to work in Australia
- Currently living in Australia
- Current Australian CPL with unrestricted Class 1 Medical
- Multi-engine IR rating
- Instructor Rating with Grade 2 endorsement
- Design Feature training endorsement
- IFR and Night Training endorsements
- GTE and PXS certifications
- More than 1000 hours total time as instructor
- Previous charter experience on single and multi-engine aircraft
- Experience on Baron/Cessna C310
- Experience on C414, PA31, C404, C441, B200, TBM or PC12
- Tail-wheel training experience
- Aerobatics training experience
- Cirrus Standard Instructor Program completion
- Demonstrated hospitality and customer service skills
- Ability to manage student pipeline and schedule
- Team leadership capability
