About This Role
Aviation Maintenance Pilot (AMP) at Guardian Flight (a Global Medical Response company) based in Honolulu, HI, flying C90 (King Air) and PC-12 aircraft. The AMP performs maintenance operational check flights and reposition flights as pilot in command under 14 CFR Part 135, reporting to the regional Director of Aviation-Flight Operations. Annual salary $100,000.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs pre- and post-maintenance visual inspections, ground runs, and operational check flights (OCF) for aircraft undergoing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- performs aircraft reposition flights as required
- ensures aircraft quality and operational readiness after maintenance.
Requirements
- Minimum Required Qualifications: 14 CFR 135 IFR Pilot In Command (PIC) Qualifications as required by 14 CFR 135.243(c) (1,2,3)
- Current First or Second Class FAA Medical Certificate
- 100 hours as Pilot in Command of a Multi-Engine Airplane
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Valid and unexpired driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid and current FAA A&P License
- 100 hours as PIC in King Air or PC-12 model aircraft
- Experience maintaining general aviation and/or turboprop powered aircraft.
