About This Role
Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia's new national airline based in Riyadh, is seeking an experienced Technical Pilot for its Boeing Management team within Flight Operations. The Technical Pilot is a key member of the flight operations team and acts as the primary point of contact and liaison with Boeing, other airline operators, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and suppliers. The role represents Flight Operations on all Boeing technical issues — covering both new and ongoing fleet concerns and day-to-day operational technical matters — and the post-holder also operates on the line.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as a key member of the flight operations team and serve as the primary point of contact and liaison with Boeing, other airline operators, OEMs, and suppliers.
- Represent Flight Operations on all Boeing technical issues, addressing both new and ongoing fleet concerns as well as operational technical matters.
- Operate on the line in addition to the technical management responsibilities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a commercial pilot, with extensive flying experience on aircraft types relevant to the Riyadh Air fleet, including but not limited to B787 family aircraft.
- Minimum of 5+ years of command experience on Boeing aircraft.
- Minimum of 2+ years in a supervisory/management role within a large airline flight operations environment.
- Must hold, or have held, a Check Airman approval or equivalent (e.g., TRI/TRE).
- As the role also operates on the line, the candidate must hold a valid ICAO ATPL, an unrestricted Class 1 medical certificate, and an ICAO English Level 5 or higher certification.
- Candidates should also have logged a minimum of 150 hours in command within the 12 months prior to joining (a recency requirement).
