About This Role
Aerometrex, a leading geospatial technology company established in 1980, is seeking an experienced Line Pilot to conduct survey and special mission flying operations across Australia. This full-time permanent role is based in Adelaide and involves operating various aircraft on specialized geospatial missions. Candidates require a minimum of 500 hours total flight time with 50 hours multi-engine experience, a CPL/IR/MEL license, and Class 1 Medical. The position offers a flexible 16 days on/12 days off roster, EAP support, and salary packaging options, ideal for pilots seeking diverse operational experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate various aircraft on scheduled survey and special mission flights
- Conduct geospatial data collection operations
- Perform pre-flight checks and crew briefings
- Maintain flight records and documentation
- Work effectively within a small flying operations team
- Support geospatial solutions delivery for customers in Australia and US

Requirements
- Minimum 500 hours total flight time
- Minimum 50 hours multi-engine time
- Valid CASA CPL, IR, MEL licenses
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4
- Experience in Primary Control Zones (Class D and C airspace)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a small team
- Flexible and adaptable to fast-paced environment
- Ability to work 16 days on/12 days off roster with 4 standby days
- Must reside within 2 hours of major Australian city airport (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide)
- Previous survey or special mission operations experience preferred
