About This Role
Jet Linx Aviation is hiring a full-time Second in Command (SIC), a First Officer position, for Falcon 900EX heavy-jet operations on a USA-commutable regional assignment listed in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. The role supports Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations, reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot, and requires access to multiple daily nonstop/direct flights to major hub airports. The SIC helps prepare and ensure the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft under the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Minimum experience is 2,500 total hours, including 500 PIC, 500 multi-engine, 100 turbine, and 150 instrument hours.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the SIC helps prepare and ensure the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Duties include managing duty, flight, and rest times according to company and CFR requirements
- maintaining communication for standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports
- maintaining and managing electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications
- and keeping navigation charts, publications, and company manuals current. The role also requires maintaining a current first-class medical certificate, demonstrating strong proactive decision-making, and consistently demonstrating Jet Linx core values in all interactions.

Requirements
- The minimum experience requirements are 2,500 hours total time, 500 hours total PIC, 500 hours total multi-engine time, 100 hours total turbine time, and 150 hours total instrument time. Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred. Applicants must be able to obtain a U.S. driver's license, provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States, hold a current passport, possess an unrestricted ATP, maintain a first-class medical certificate, and hold an FCC Restricted Radio License. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug and alcohol testing when required
- safety-sensitive testing covers marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines. The role requires unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries, release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot, and work nights, weekends, and holidays. A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required. Most work takes place in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals, with frequent movement of up to 50 pounds. The candidate is also expected to have access to multiple daily nonstop/direct flights to major hub airports for commuting.
