About This Role
Production Test Pilot at Gulfstream Aerospace (GAC St. Louis / CPS). Under the direction of the Chief/Senior Production Test Pilot, conducts flight test evaluations of production aircraft, engines, avionics and related systems to ensure conformance to design and performance specifications, and acts as crew within Gulfstream Flight Operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- In accordance with Gulfstream Flight Operations FOM/SOP, as crew, domestically and internationally (when qualified), operate Gulfstream aircraft in support of Airborne Customer Support (ACS), corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration, Gulfstream maintenance, production test, and any other functions as assigned.
- Conduct flight test evaluations of production aircraft, engines, avionics systems, and other related systems.
- Communicate with Gulfstream personnel to facilitate effective support.
- Coordinate the assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations.
- Proactively assist Gulfstream Dispatch with planning and coordination of flight activity.
- Manage the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flight activities.
Requirements
- ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) Upon Hire required.
- 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate Upon Hire required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years flight experience as a professional pilot in aviation industry required.
- 1500 hours total flight time, or 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command of turbine powered aircraft.
- Gulfstream type rating preferred.
- Previous Gulfstream experience with GVII & GVIII type ratings, CFI and Functional Test Pilot experience preferred.
- Must be able to maintain an FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
