About This Role
Production Test Pilot at Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA. Under the direction of the Chief/Senior Production Test Pilot, conduct flight test evaluations of production aircraft, engines, avionics and related systems to confirm conformance to design and performance specifications, and act as crew within Gulfstream Flight Operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- In accordance with Gulfstream Flight Operations FOM/SOP, operate Gulfstream aircraft domestically and internationally in support of Airborne Customer Support, corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration, maintenance, production test and other assigned functions.
- Communicate with Gulfstream personnel to support Customers, coordinate assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Corporate Maintenance/Production/Technical Operations, assist Dispatch with flight planning, and manage the safe and efficient conduct of assigned flight activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years flight experience as a professional pilot in aviation industry required.
- 1500 hours total flight time, or 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command of turbine powered aircraft.
- Gulfstream type rating preferred.
- ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) Upon Hire required.
- 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate Upon Hire required.
- Previous Gulfstream experience with GVI & GVII type ratings, CFI and Functional Test Pilot experience preferred.
- Must be able to maintain an FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
