About This Role
Rite-Hite is seeking a corporate pilot to transport company officials, customers, and family members domestically and internationally in company-owned aircraft under a FAR/CFR Part 91 operation. The pilot reports to the Director of Aviation and is responsible for safe, cost-effective flight operations, trip planning, aircraft readiness, international documentation, coordination with maintenance, and continuing aviation and safety training. The role supports mid-cabin to large-cabin aircraft and includes both flight-department operational responsibilities and limited aircraft and hangar support.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The pilot operates company aircraft safely and cost-effectively in compliance with FAA standards and the Part 91 flight operation.
- Duties include conducting pre- and post-flight activities, assessing weather and aircraft readiness, maintaining current tablets, computers, navigation applications, company manuals, aircraft manuals, and performance applications, and directing aircraft scheduling and trip planning.
- The pilot cleans and stocks the aircraft, arranges lavatory services and catering, and communicates maintenance discrepancies to the Director of Maintenance, Senior Maintenance Technician, or Director of Aviation.
- The role includes attending initial and recurrent training, continuing safety education, international operations training, and relevant seminars.
- Daily responsibilities include completing flight logs, international paperwork and journey logs, aircraft discrepancy reports, and other documentation in accordance with FAA guidance, LOAs, operations specifications, and company procedures.
- When requested, the pilot helps secure and restock the hangar facility and assists maintenance personnel with aircraft run-ups during required checks.
- The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements
- Preferred qualifications include a four-year B.A. degree, an associate degree in a related field, 3,000 hours of total flight time, 1,000 hours of turbine time, and 500 hours of turbine PIC time.
- Mid-cabin to large-cabin aircraft experience and international operational experience are sought.
- A G550 and/or G280 type rating is preferred but not required.
- The candidate should hold a multi-engine commercial pilot certification, Class I FAA Medical Certificate, FCC Radio Station License, current passport, and valid driver's license.
- The role requires the ability to travel 75%, lift up to 50 pounds into and out of aircraft, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
