About This Role
Cutter Aviation is seeking an energetic and knowledgeable Pilot-in-Command to fly a new Pilatus PC-12 based at its Phoenix Sky Harbor location. The role conducts single-pilot flights supporting the owners' travel requirements as well as charter flying in Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand operations. The PIC serves as the primary face of Cutter Aviation for owners and clients, provides world-class customer service, liaises with Cutter Flight Management on all phases of aircraft operations and support, and represents the company to aircraft owners, operators, business partners, and the business-aviation community.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The PIC will fly the PC-12 as a single pilot in support of owner travel and charter flying, including Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand charter operations. Core duties include an uncompromising commitment to safety and world-class service
- remaining available 24/7 year-round
- adapting to rotating schedules and short-notice callouts
- ensuring compliance with FAA regulations covering actual flight, pilot qualifications, currency, fitness for flight, and aircraft compliance
- following established procedures to report in-flight irregularities, conduct ground checks, and maintain records
- and completing additional administrative duties assigned by the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot. The pilot will liaise with Cutter Flight Management on all phases of aircraft operations and support, serve as Cutter Aviation's primary face to owners and clients, build relationships, communicate effectively, and represent the company externally to aircraft owners, operators, business partners, and the business-aviation community.
Requirements
- Minimum requirements include a Commercial certificate and Instrument rating
- an ATP is preferred. Previous turbojet type-rating and/or turboprop experience is preferred. The applicant must hold a current First-Class Medical or be able to qualify for one, have no accidents, incidents, or sanctions in the past five years, and possess knowledge of general-aviation aircraft, their service requirements, and the needs of crews and passengers. The role calls for a self-starter who can work independently, train a second-in-command (SIC) pilot to perform the proper functions, assist customers, and work as part of a team, with excellent customer-service, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred PC12 qualifications include a Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, 1,200 total flight hours, 500 cross-country hours, 100 night hours, and 75 instrument hours, including 50 hours in actual flight, plus previous on-demand charter experience and previous FSI or Simuflite training. Other requirements include passing a drug-screening test and background check, maintaining a clean driving record, and holding a high school diploma or GED.
