About This Role
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a NetJets/Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary, seeks a Pilot in Command for a King Air 360 based in Austin, TX (KAUS). The account averages approximately 150 hrs/yr, all Part 91. This is a non-commutable position; candidates must reside in or relocate to the Austin area. The PIC holds final responsibility for safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operation while delivering an exceptional service experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures the safe operation of flight: ensures crewing and trip assignments are compliant
- completes flight planning, performance and weight and balance tasks
- utilizes Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology
- complies with company SOPs
- acts as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator
- completes aircraft pre-flight tasks and records discrepancies
- monitors aircraft ground servicing
- completes passenger briefings
- utilizes CRM and TEM. Delivers an exceptional service experience to owners and passengers. Maintains regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience
- complies with company SMS program.
Requirements
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation. FAA Type rating in B300 series (strongly preferred). Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position. Minimum Time Requirements: Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- ATP.
