Wing Aviation is a Houston-headquartered boutique business-aviation provider offering aircraft charter, management, and brokerage services, with a worldwide client base, a world-class crew, and a strong safety program. It is seeking a Lead Pilot for a Gulfstream V (GV) based in Houston, responsible for safe aircraft operation, maintenance-status review, AFM-based pre-flight inspections, route and alternate-airport weather and facility checks, compliance with company procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations, passenger, aircraft, and crew safety, and trip paperwork. Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe operation of the GV aircraft.
- Review the maintenance status of the aircraft.
- Conduct pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved aircraft flight manual.
- Complete check of weather and facilities along the route to be flown and airports to be used, including alternate airports.
- Ensure the flight is conducted following the policies and procedures of Wing Aviation and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
- Accurately complete of all trip paperwork in accordance with established procedures.

- Certifications and Licenses Required FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) First Class Medical Ratings: GV PIC Experience Requirements Airman Certificate: ATP Ratings: Appropriate PIC Type Rating Medical Certificate: First-Class, valid for ATP privileges Total Flight Time: 3,500 (PIC) Multi Engine Land: 1,500 (PIC) Multi Engine PIC: 500 (PIC) Instrument: 300 (PIC) Turbine Engine: 500 (PIC) Time in Type: 1000 (PIC) Transatlantic experience required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Skilled at making proactive decisions Ability to set priorities and stay organized Ability to maintain a valid First-Class Medical certificate Uphold a service standard in an evolving regulatory environment Strong customer service skills Knowledge of and ability to comply with the 14 CFR 91 and 14 CFR 135 Operations, FAA Regulations, Aircraft Flight and Equipment manuals as well as any other information required for each flight.
