Requirements
- This is a multi-tier posting
- each advertised position carries its own minimums and all four require a fixed-wing Commercial Pilot Licence and flying experience in the previous 12 months. Tanker Pilot - AT 802 Fire Boss: 2500 hours pilot-in-command, 1000 hours turbine, and 200 hours in an Air Tractor or similar turbine-powered agricultural style aircraft OR 500 hours float experience (amphibious time is an asset)
- experience in low-level operations such as fire suppression, agricultural or survey flying is preferred and a valid IFR is an asset. Tanker Pilot - AT 802 Wheeled: 1500 hours pilot-in-command time and 300 hours tailwheel experience
- time in an Air Tractor or similar turbine-powered agricultural style aircraft is an asset, a valid IFR is an asset and low-level operational experience is preferred. Birddog Pilot - C208: at least 2000 hours pilot-in-command and 1000 hours turbine, a valid IFR, previous aerial firefighting experience as an asset, and experience in a Cessna Caravan or aircraft equipped with a Garmin G1000NXI preferred. Shadow Pilot - C208: at least 1500 hours of total time and 750 hours pilot-in-command, a valid IFR, with Cessna Caravan or Garmin G1000NXI experience and PT6 experience as assets.
