About This Role
NetJets is recruiting a First Officer for its South Region crewmember operation. The role combines safe, technically accurate FAA-compliant private-aircraft transportation with a personalized, concierge-level service experience for NetJets Owners and passengers. The pilot is expected to be the face of NetJets, remain in full command, maintain a professional demeanor, and cover a broad range of operational and passenger-service responsibilities, from briefings and itinerary updates to in-flight service, baggage handling, and flights involving pets or smoking passengers. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate the aircraft safely from taxi through take-off and landing on every flight in accordance with FAA guidelines, Original Equipment Manufacturer checklists, the NetJets Flight Operations Manual or Aircraft Operating Manual, and Standard Operating Practices.
- Greet Owners and passengers before the flight, make introductions, brief them on the specific flight or trip, verify the itinerary, provide weather updates and safety briefings, and explain itinerary changes.
- Provide in-flight service as needed, including handling alcohol and serving catering.
- Load and properly stow baggage, and handle and conduct flights for Owners with pets or who smoke.
- Remain in full command of the aircraft and serve as the final authority for all areas of operation, including compliance with applicable safety and regulatory guidance.
- Act as the liaison between Owners, passengers and NetJets from their arrival at the FBO until they have safely landed at the destination and departed the final FBO.
- Communicate maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Company's aircraft Maintenance Control Center controller on duty for the fleet and complete all associated paperwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned depending on the position.

Requirements
- Education listed: high school. The certifications and licences include a written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) and a First Class Medical Certificate. The posting accepts an FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or applicants who meet the requirements for an FAA ATP or R-ATP certificate with a multi-engine rating under 61.160. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and meet one of the stated total-flight-time pathways: 1,500 hours total flight time
- 1,250 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate
- 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification
- or 1,000 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate. Additional required experience includes 200 hours of cross-country flight time over 50 nm, 250 hours of fixed-wing PIC time, 100 hours of night flying or 75 hours with at least 45 night takeoffs and landings, 75 hours of instrument time actual or simulated in flight excluding simulator time, and 50 hours of fixed-wing multi-engine time. The ATP written examination must be completed before the start of indoctrination training. Candidates must hold a current FAA First-Class Medical certificate, an FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit, a valid United States passport, authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction, and a valid state driver's licence. They must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges and pass the required Transportation Security Administration background screening. Physical requirements include exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. The pilot must be able to work around animals, including handling and caring for them before, during and after Owner flights, and conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
