About This Role
NetJets is seeking a First Officer for its South Central Region operation. The Pilot is responsible for safe, compliant aircraft operation while delivering a highly personalized private-aviation experience to NetJets Owners and passengers. The role combines professional flight duties with concierge-level service, including passenger briefings, in-flight service, baggage handling, pet and smoke-related flight accommodations, operational communication, and maintenance reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate the aircraft safely from taxi through landing in accordance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, the NetJets Flight Operations Manual or Aircraft Operating Manual, and standard operating practices.
- Greet Owners and passengers before departure, make introductions, brief them on the flight and itinerary, provide weather updates and safety briefings, and communicate itinerary changes.
- Provide in-flight service as needed, including catering and alcohol service, load and properly stow baggage, and accommodate flights involving pets or passengers who smoke.
- Serve as the final authority for aircraft operations, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Act as the liaison between Owners, passengers, NetJets, and the FBO throughout the trip.
- Report maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the fleet Maintenance Control Center controller and complete the associated documentation.
- Perform other duties assigned according to the position and trip requirements.

Requirements
- Applicants must hold an FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for an FAA ATP or Restricted ATP certificate with a multi-engine rating under 14 CFR 61.160.
- The posting accepts the applicable total-time pathways of 1,500 hours, 1,250 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate, or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification or an appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
- Additional minimums include 200 hours of cross-country flight time, 250 hours of fixed-wing PIC time, 100 hours of night flying or 75 hours with at least 45 night takeoffs and landings, 75 hours of instrument time excluding simulator time, and 50 hours of fixed-wing multi-engine time.
- Candidates must complete the ATP written examination before indoctrination training, hold a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate, possess an FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit and valid United States passport, have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States and travel internationally, and hold a valid state driver's license.
- The role also requires English fluency, strong communication and decision-making skills, passenger-service professionalism, flexibility for changing schedules, the ability to manage rest for flight duty, security screening and airport or customs badges, and the physical ability to handle required lifting and work around animals and smoking passengers.
