About This Role
Reliable Robotics is hiring a Part 135 line pilot for Pacific operations supporting Reliable Airlines, a cargo feeder operator serving a major cargo carrier since June 2022. The role combines safe operation of autonomous and piloted Cessna 208 aircraft with operational test-pilot duties, Part 135 cargo flying, and remote and piloted flying in experimental aircraft. The assignment directly supports an autonomous flight operations contract with the Department of War in the Pacific region (Guam). Although remote-based, the pilot will be tasked at the airline headquarters in Albuquerque, the flight-test facility in San Martin, and the Guam contract location. The schedule is 14 days on/off during CONUS tasking and 30 days on/off during OCONUS tasking, with travel provided from the home of record to the work location.
Duties & Responsibilities
- As a Part 135-qualified pilot, you will join the operations team and report directly to the Chief Pilot.
- You will safely operate advanced aviation technology in autonomous and piloted Cessna 208 aircraft, perform operational test-pilot duties and Part 135 cargo-airline flying, and conduct both remote and piloted flying in experimental aircraft.
- The work directly supports the autonomous flight operations contract with the Department of War in the Pacific region (Guam).
- The role is remote-based but requires tasking at the airline headquarters in Albuquerque, NM, the flight-test facility in San Martin, CA, and the Guam contract location.

Requirements
- Required qualifications include proficiency in single-pilot IFR operations, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in an ever-changing, safety-oriented environment. Applicants are subject to the FAA/DOT drug and alcohol testing program, must possess the legal right to work in the United States, must be able to qualify for a security clearance, and must hold an FAA First or Second Class Medical. To meet the FAR Part 135.243(c) IFR requirements, applicants must hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate for Single-Engine Land and an instrument rating, with 1,200 hours total time, 500 hours cross-country, 100 hours night, and 75 hours of actual or simulated instrument time, including 50 hours in actual flight. Preferred qualifications are an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating, an impeccable safety record, Cessna C208 Caravan experience, 1,000 hours PIC, previous experience operating under 14 CFR 135, and previous UAS operator experience.
