About This Role
The OCONUS Second-in-Command Pilot operates B300/350 aircraft on ISR missions throughout the Pacific Area of Responsibility under GFR-approved flight and operations procedures, applicable host-nation rules, and Federal Aviation Regulations. The role covers safe aircraft operation in all weather, day and night, mission preparation, flight planning, performance and weight-and-balance planning, fuel planning, post-flight activities, site oversight, crew coordination, safety management, reporting, and aircraft discrepancy documentation. The position is rotational, normally 90 days on followed by 90 days off, and may involve austere or hazardous overseas operating environments.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Chief Pilot on crew staffing, scheduling, personnel management, training adequacy, operational tempo, and mission-support requirements.
- Provide OCONUS site oversight for mission briefings, mission management, crew equipment, safety-program implementation, flight-department data tracking, and operations-specification management.
- Conduct flight operations as Second-in-Command when required and operate the aircraft in compliance with applicable regulations, service guidance, corporate policies, procedures, and FOPs/GOPs.
- Ensure flights are conducted safely and professionally, communicate respectfully with team members and customers, prepare required reports and briefs, support safety management and aircraft upkeep, coordinate fueling, document aircraft discrepancies for maintenance review and correction, and perform additional duties assigned to meet company and customer objectives.

Requirements
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens with a current U.S. passport and an FAA Class II Medical. A Commercial MEL Pilot’s license is required, while ATP is preferred. Applicants must hold a type rating in the operational aircraft or a similar aircraft and must be able to pass a drug test. Prior OCONUS rotational experience is required or expected. Former active DoD or U.S. Government contractor ISR experience and Instructor Pilot or Standardization Pilot experience are preferred but not required. The role requires travel and rotational deployment throughout the United States and internationally, including austere locations. Applicants must be able to work in varied physical conditions, wear a respirator or other required safety equipment, work in confined spaces, and lift 50 pounds.
