About This Role
ConocoPhillips Global Aviation Services is recruiting a dual-qualified DHC-6 / CASA 212 pilot based at the Alpine facility on Alaska's North Slope. The company operates an in-house corporate fleet (Q400, Gulfstream G550, Cessna Citation, Twin Otter and Casa 212) that carries over 150,000 passengers a year in support of its exploration and production business. Reporting to the Chief Pilot – North Slope, the pilot flies company-approved passengers and cargo aboard the DHC-6 and CASA-212, serving as Pilot-in-Command or Second-in-Command as assigned, and takes on collateral ground duties. The post works a rotating weekly shift on a one-week-on / one-week-off schedule at a remote arctic location, and is designated safety-sensitive.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Promote and cultivate ConocoPhillips Alaska's Incident-Free Safety Culture and the aviation Safety Management System
- comply with the company's safety programs, policies, procedures and practices, including the proper wear and use of personal protective equipment
- identify and report safety issues or irregularities for entry into the company's safety database for assessment, risk analysis and corrective action
- comply with company policies and directives, FAA regulations, public law and other applicable regulatory requirements
- operate company aircraft to ensure safe, compliant, reliable and efficient transport of passengers and cargo
- represent the company ethically and responsibly with business associates, officials and customers
- and communicate effectively with peers and leadership. Performing the duties of Pilot-in-Command or Second-in-Command as assigned includes conducting pre- and post-flight aircraft inspections, calculating fuel loads and coordinating fueling, conducting preflight planning (weather, NOTAMs, routing, airfield conditions, TFRs, flight risk assessment and passenger/cargo loads), ensuring all flight operations comply with FAA regulations and company procedures, completing weight-and-balance computations, completing daily flight records, and maintaining communication with Aviation Operations Support regarding aircraft/crew status and flight schedule throughout the duty day. Other duties are assigned to support aviation operations.

Requirements
- Basic / Required: legally authorized to work in the United States
- a valid passport without restrictions for international travel
- an FAA Airline Transport Pilot Licence with an airplane multi-engine land rating
- a current, valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- and an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit. Minimum flight times must include 2,500 hours total flight time, 1,500 hours multi-engine airplane time, 500 hours multi-engine airplane Pilot-in-Command time, 75/50 hours of total/actual instrument time, and 100 night takeoffs and landings. Preferred Qualifications
- a Bachelor's degree or higher in Aviation, Aeronautics or a related technical field (or foreign equivalent)
- a CASA C-212 type rating / experience
- DHC-6 experience
- a current Certificated Flight Instructor rating (CFII, MEI)
- three or more years of operational experience in an arctic environment
- three or more years in a multi-crew environment
- three or more years in a company training or standards role
- and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft O365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). Physical demands include working in remote locations with temperature extremes and adverse weather, working in and out of company aircraft and vehicles, lifting loads up to 50 pounds, accessing all approved areas of the DHC-6 and CASA-212 including baggage and cabin areas, and strict use of PPE. This is a safety-sensitive position.
