About This Role
2Excel Aviation is seeking First Officers for its Special Missions division, operating King Air 350 aircraft from Prestwick and Humberside. The role involves varied specialist surveillance flying for UK Government and industry customers within the UK and neighbouring States, with each crew comprising a Captain, First Officer and Sensor Operator. The position is permanent, covers day and night operations, and offers progression opportunities within 2Excel.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate as First Officer on the B350 alongside a Captain.
- Deliver specialist surveillance tasks within the UK and neighbouring States as part of 2Excel Aviation’s Special Missions division.
- Work in a three-person crew with a Sensor Operator who manages the sensors and mission equipment, while undertaking varied and challenging flying duties on day and night shifts.

Requirements
- Applicants must hold a current UK Class 1 medical and a valid UK CPL or ATPL with ME/IR.
- They must have at least 250 total flying hours, including a minimum of 100 PIC hours, 50 instrument hours and 5 night hours.
- MCC and AUPRT, plus relevant military, police or coastguard experience, are desirable.
- A current King Air 350 type rating is desirable but not essential because training will be provided.
- Applicants must also demonstrate the right to work in the UK, be able to obtain UK Security Clearance and hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
