About This Role
Perimeter Aviation is recruiting a Metro First Officer for its Canadian 703/704 operations, with listed locations in Winnipeg, Thunder Bay and Sioux Lookout. Reporting to the Assistant Chief Pilot, the First Officer will transport passengers while prioritizing safe flight operations, passenger comfort and on-time performance. The role supports Perimeter Aviation’s scheduled passenger and freight services, charter operations and broader northern aviation network, with a strong emphasis on community service, safety and respect for First Nations communities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct Metro flights in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Canadian Aviation Regulations, the Aircraft Flight Manual and the Company Operations Manual.
- Assist the Pilot-in-Command with the management and operation of each flight, including the execution of all cockpit procedures.
- Fuel the aircraft and complete thorough pre-flight and post-flight aircraft inspections on behalf of the Captain.
- Load and secure cargo and freight, and brief passengers in accordance with the applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
- Continuously improve flying skills and operational knowledge with the goal of eventually being ready to assume a Captain position, continue meeting and exceeding Transport Canada pilot qualification standards, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, a Commercial Pilot License, a Category 1 Medical and a current Group 1 Instrument Rating. The posting lists 1,000 hours of total flight time as preferred rather than required. Pilots must be fluent in English and demonstrate effective verbal communication, listening comprehension and written communication skills. Candidates must be able to qualify for a Winnipeg Airport Authority RAIC security clearance

Candidates must be physically able to perform the listed duties, work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, travel by aircraft and other means, and work flexible schedules for extended periods.
