About This Role
Air Napier seeks a Line Pilot for Fixed Wing Piston aircraft operations based in Napier, New Zealand. The role involves flying Part 135 commercial air transport operations including scheduled freight runs, charter flights, and scheduled services. The company operates a Piper Navajo, Piper Senecas, and an IFR Cherokee 6. Candidates must have a minimum of 710 hours total flight time with multi-engine instrument rating preferred, and type ratings on PA-32, PA-34, and PA-31 aircraft are advantageous.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate scheduled freight runs
- Conduct charter flights
- Perform scheduled passenger flights
- Maintain aircraft safety and compliance standards
Requirements
- 710 hours total flight time minimum
- Multi-Engine Instrument rating (preferable)
- 125 hours cross country minimum, including 30 hours IFR cross country
- 50 hours actual or simulated instrument time
- 25 hours night flying
- ATO (Approved Training Organisation) experience preferable
- Type ratings on PA-32, PA-34, and PA-31 advantageous
- Fluent English speaker
