About This Role
Metrea Special Air Missions (SAM) King Air ISR Captain flying deployed multi-sensor Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance missions as pilot in command in support of US Government, allied and partner contracts. The position is contingent on contract award, is deployed/austere with ~50% travel, and requires US citizenship and an active US Secret security clearance.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) and crew lead for deployed multi-sensor ISR flight operations
  • plan, brief, execute and debrief ISR missions per SOPs and applicable FAA, ICAO and host-nation regulations
  • lead flight and mission crews with CRM
  • maintain flight currency, medical qualification and proficiency
  • oversee aircraft preflight, mission configuration and maintenance coordination.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (any discipline) or a minimum of 4+ years of equivalent aviation experience
  • FAA Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine Land Certificate with Instrument Rating, or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
  • FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate
  • Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time
  • Minimum 100 hours multi-engine time
  • At least 2 years of operational experience in civil or military aviation environments
  • Solid understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), particularly 14 CFR Parts 61 and 91
Preferred Qualifications
  • Type rated in BE-200 and/or BE-300 aircraft
  • FAA CFI/CFII/MEI or graduate of a U.S. Military Flight Instructor Training Program.
