About This Role
Air Tindi Ltd. is recruiting an experienced King Air Captain based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. For over 35 years Air Tindi has provided on-demand and scheduled air services across Northern Canada, supporting Northern communities, commercial industries such as mining, tourism, government and community support services with a diversified northern fleet that includes the Beech King Air 350, de Havilland Canada Dash-7, Twin Otter and Turbo Otter, and the Cessna Caravan. Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the King Air Captain commands the aircraft, is accountable for the safety of the aircraft and passengers on board, works in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the daily flight schedule, and carries out flight route and flight planning while keeping relevant personnel informed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the King Air Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft and the passengers on board
- monitoring all aircraft equipment
- operating in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the daily flight schedule
- flight route and flight planning
- keeping relevant personnel informed with trip information
- and other duties as required.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold a valid Commercial Pilot License, a valid Driver's License and a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC), and have 2,500 hours total time.
- The role also calls for excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to work with others, solid oral and written communication skills, and a strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
