About This Role
Tenax Aerospace is seeking experienced King Air B200/350 Firefighting Pilots (Air Attack) for aerial firefighting and special mission aviation operations throughout the United States. The role operates modified King Air aircraft in single-pilot operations, supports customer and mission requirements, and requires strong airmanship, judgment, technical proficiency, regulatory compliance, and safe mission execution.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command for special mission operations using modified King Air aircraft. Operate King Air B200 aircraft in all weather conditions as a single pilot and, when qualified, conduct King Air 350 single-pilot operations. Execute aerial missions in accordance with customer requirements, FAA regulations, company procedures, aircraft flight manuals, manufacturer requirements, and regulatory guidance. Complete recurrent training and checking to Part 135 standards, conduct functional check flights, coordinate with technical operators and mission crews, and perform command-pilot duties. - maintain professional relationships with customers and aviation stakeholders
- and support safe, efficient, and effective program execution. Other duties may be assigned in support of operational requirements.

Requirements
- Required qualifications include an FAA Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating, a current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate, at least 3,000 hours of total flight time, 1,200 hours of Pilot-in-Command time including at least 200 hours in the King Air category/class, 500 hours of cross-country flight time, 50 hours of instrument flight time plus 75 hours of actual or simulated instrument experience, 200 hours of night PIC time, and 25 hours in King Air B200/350 aircraft.
- Applicants must also hold a valid driver's license, be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, travel extensively throughout the Continental United States, and successfully complete required training, checking events, background reviews, and drug testing.

- Preferred qualifications include an FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, extensive King Air B200 and/or B350 experience, familiarity with Pro Line 21 and Fusion avionics, aerial firefighting or air attack experience, a current USDA/DOI Interagency Air Operations Card, at least 100 fixed-wing hours in the preceding 12 months, at least 10 hours in make and model in the preceding 12 months, and operational experience supporting fire containment, airborne intelligence, surveillance, or data-collection missions.
