About This Role
MassMutual's Aviation Department is hiring a full-time Jet Pilot based at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. The role provides safe, reliable, and flexible transportation for passengers traveling on corporate aircraft and supports both domestic and international operations. The pilot coordinates with passengers, fellow crewmembers, flight scheduling, and maintenance management while conducting assigned flights safely and efficiently. MassMutual's Jet Pilot Group serves complex corporate transportation requirements and is expected to deliver dependable service to passengers and corporate stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Jet Pilot provides safe, reliable, and flexible transportation for passengers traveling on corporate aircraft and coordinates extensively with passengers, other flight crewmembers, flight scheduling, and maintenance management.
- The position is responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of assigned flights, with sound judgment prevailing throughout scheduled trips.
- Duties include providing excellent passenger customer service, validating trip details before departure, complying with schedules and other directives governing aircraft operations, ensuring that all flight-planning requirements are complete, operating the aircraft in accordance with standard operating procedures and aircraft limitations, participating in the Safety Management System, maintaining currency and proficiency in assigned Flight Department aircraft, and carrying out duties delegated by the Chief Pilot or Assistant Chief Pilot.

Requirements
- Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED
- 7+ years of experience in corporate aviation, charted operations/121, or military aviation VIP experience
- an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a fixed-wing Multi-Engine Rating
- a First Class FAA Medical Certificate
- 3,000 hours of flight time, including 2,000 hours as pilot in command
- and residence within 1.5 hours of the primary job location in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. Ideal qualifications include experience with the Falcon 2000LXS and/or Falcon 8X, international operating experience including oceanic operations, and experience working within a corporate flight department. Candidates should be able to work a non-standard schedule that may include nights, weekends, and standby days determined by the flight schedule, and should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. A bachelor's degree is also listed as ideal. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
