About This Role
Dynamic Aviation is seeking a Flight Instructor to support its Training Department in Bridgewater, Virginia. The instructor will train and develop pilots for a safe, professional flight crew environment, delivering advanced simulator, aircraft, ground, systems, mission-equipment, and survival training for King Air 90 and 200 operations. The position also develops curricula and online learning materials, assesses pilot candidates, and performs line-pilot duties at remote locations when needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced simulator and in-aircraft flight training for King Air 90 and 200 aircraft. Deliver advanced ground training covering aircraft systems, mission equipment, and survival equipment and techniques. Promote, teach, assess, and develop effective Standard Operating Procedures. Assess new pilot candidates
- review and enhance existing ground-training curricula for all aircraft models and mission equipment
- develop additional curricula for emerging mission equipment and applications
- and develop and administer simulator curricula supporting all flight operations. Manage pilot-preparation study guides, develop and maintain an online learning environment, perform line-pilot duties at remote locations as needed for other company segments, and undertake other assigned duties.
What We Offer
This is a full-time, hourly-paid position with estimated first-year annual earnings of approximately $75,000–$85,000 and potential earnings above $100,000 after achieving full qualifications. Operations are conducted at a fixed base with occasional travel. Requirements
- Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1,500 hours of total flight time, and either at least 300 hours as a flight instructor or five years of experience as an Instructor Pilot.
- Candidates must hold Multi-Engine Instructor and Instrument Instructor ratings and a first- or second-class FAA medical certificate.
- Preferred qualifications include the ability to travel away from the home location for up to 30 days according to customer or company needs, flexibility, strong computer skills, strong public, interpersonal, and written communication skills, integrity, honesty, and humility.
- Candidates should be able to work independently or closely with a team, manage detailed training, operational, and policy materials, provide recognized leadership to a diverse pilot community, hold a valid passport, and lift, balance, and carry 50 pounds.
