About This Role
Solairus Aviation is searching for a Full-Time Client Aviation Manager (CAM) to lead a flight department at KRNO (Reno, NV). The CAM both leads/manages the flight department and flies as a typed G550 pilot, supervising assigned crew and maintenance personnel while ensuring regulatory and SMS compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervises assigned personnel for compliance with Solairus/FAA manuals and regulations
- monitors appearance, dress code, and conduct
- coordinates and reviews crew and maintenance training
- coordinates maintenance/test/training flights
- develops scheduling procedures with clients
- approves PTO and expense accounts
- conducts personnel meetings
- participates in interviews
- notifies Client Responsible Officer of pilot-relief needs
- submits operations reports
- maintains Training Currency and Monthly Flight Time Records
- actively participates in the Safety Management System (SMS).
Requirements
- Total time = 3000 hours
- PIC = 1500 hours
- MEL = 1500 hours
- MEL PIC = 500 hours
- Time in Turbo Jet = 500
- Instrument Time = 250 hours. Typed on G550. First class medical required. Management background with demonstrated leadership required
- NBAA CAM certification or other applicable leadership training preferred. Must be able to work on-call, complete ICAO International procedures training annually, and be located or willing to relocate within 2 hours of KRNO.
