About This Role
Alerion Aviation, a boutique aircraft management company with one of the largest private fleets in South Florida, is hiring a full-time First Officer to fly the Gulfstream 280 for Part 91/135 operations based in West Palm Beach, FL (KPBI). The First Officer conducts Part 91 and Part 135 flights in accordance with company policy and procedures and FAA regulations. SIC minimums: ATP license, 2000 hours total flight time (all aircraft) with 500 PIC, 1500 multi-engine (100 PIC), 150 instrument; international experience and a Gulfstream 280 (or comparable) type rating are preferred. Duties & Responsibilities
- As a First Officer with Alerion Aviation you are highly motivated, extremely organized, service-driven, and safety minded.
- You will be responsible for conducting Part 91 and Part 135 flights in accordance with the company’s policy and procedures as well as within FAA regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
- SIC Minimums:
- Must have ATP License
- 2000 Total Flight Time (all aircraft) / 500 PIC
- 1500 Multi Engine / 100 PIC
- 150 Instrument
- International experience preferred
- Type rated on Gulfstream 280 or comparable aircraft preferred Pilot Requirements
- Current and valid First Class FAA Medical Certificate
- Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally without restrictions
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- No accidents, incidents, or FAA violations within the last 5 years
- Live within a 2 hour driving radius of the Farmingdale Airport (FRG)
- Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
- Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
- Pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check in compliance with TSA Security Program Standards and 49 CFR 1544.229 and 49 CFR 1544.230
