About This Role
Airspeed Aviation, a Tamworth-based charter operator with flight training schools across NSW, seeks an experienced flight instructor and team leader to support their expansion plans. The role combines multi-engine charter operations, pilot development mentoring, and flight instruction across their diverse aircraft fleet, requiring strong leadership abilities and extensive charter experience. This is a full-time position suitable for qualified pilots seeking to advance their career outside major city aviation centers.
Requirements
- Australian Citizen or Current right to work in Australia, and currently living in Australia
- Current Australian CPL with unrestricted Class 1 Medical
- Current Australian ME-IR (Multi-Engine Instrument Rating)
- GTE (Ground Time Experience) and PXS
- Instructor Rating with Grade 2 endorsement, Design Feature training (DFE), IFR training endorsements
- More than 1000 hours TTIS (Total Time Instructing Service)
- Previous experience on Baron/Cessna C310
- Charter experience on both SEA and MEA aircraft
- Previous experience on C414, PA31, C404, C441, B200, TBM or PC12
- Tail-wheel and Aerobatics training experience for Super Decathlon
- Cirrus Standard Instructor Program certification
- Demonstrated Hospitality and Customer Service Skills
- Ability to manage time, student pipeline, and maintain contacts independently
- IFR and Night Training Endorsements
