About This Role
Wings Over Kississing is seeking an experienced and personable Flight Instructor for a six-month seasonal contract beginning September 1, 2026. The instructor will work with a select group of company professionals who are pursuing their pilot licenses in a nontraditional flight-school environment, delivering training in the company's fully equipped 1977 RI72 Hawk XP with a semi-glass panel. The role emphasizes patient, professional, emotionally intelligent instruction that builds confidence and competence while adapting to each learner's schedule and learning style. After the individuals complete their licenses, the instructor may have the opportunity to join the company's King Air flight line.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide flight instruction to a select group of individuals within the company who are pursuing pilot licenses.
- Conduct training in the fully equipped 1977 RI72 Hawk XP with its semi-glass panel, and teach with patience, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
- Build learner confidence and competence together, creating a supportive and encouraging environment rather than an intimidating or traditional flight-school setting.
- Tailor instruction to each individual's schedule and learning style while helping mature, high-performing professionals progress toward completing their licenses.

Requirements
- An experienced candidate with a valid Flight Instructor Rating, Multi-IFR Rating, and Class 3, 2, or 1 qualification
