Duties & Responsibilities

• The First Officer is functionally responsible to the Captain for the duration of all flying duties and supports the Captain in safe, efficient flight operations. The role requires maintaining high standards of discipline, conduct, appearance and professional expertise as a company representative
• actively supporting crew morale
• and assisting the Captain with crew discipline, conduct and professional appearance. The First Officer carries out delegated flight duties under Company Standard Operating Procedures, including the procedures, limitations and performance requirements for the assigned aircraft type, and provides the Captain with advice, information and assistance for safe and efficient flight conduct.
• The First Officer promptly reports known or suspected violations and incidents to the Fleet Manager, maintains a current company-required medical certificate, and notifies the Fleet Manager of any condition that could impair flight duties. The role also includes assisting with flight-operations administration, maintaining effective crew coordination in a professional, efficient and courteous manner, and being responsible to the Fleet Manager for duty assignments and training requirements.
• Passenger-facing duties include greeting passengers, assisting with seating and luggage storage, and conducting passenger briefings when required. The First Officer performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Required qualifications and experience: Applicants must hold a valid EASA ATPL
• a UK CAA ATPL and Medical are desirable but not mandatory. They must also hold a valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate, an ME-IR (A) endorsed on an EASA Licence, and either an MCC Course Certificate or a Multi-Pilot Rating endorsed on an EASA Licence. Advanced UPRT or equivalent recent regulatory training, a valid EU Passport, English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5 minimum, the legal right to live and work in Europe and/or the UK, and the ability to travel internationally to all Flexjet operating destinations are required.
• Flight experience requirements are a minimum of 2,500 total flight hours, 500 hours Pilot in Command Under Supervision (PICUS), and 250 hours Multi-Pilot Instrument Time. Preferred qualifications are a Bachelor's degree and previous experience within Commercial Air Transport and/or Corporate Aviation operations.

• and professional appearance and grooming standards. The posting lists 40 hours per week and requires availability for weekends, nights, shifts, public holidays and overnight trips.
• Working conditions include regular exposure to aircraft operating environments, moving mechanical equipment, extreme heat, cold, rain and snow, elevated working areas, aviation-related hazards, aviation fuels, chemicals, lavatory servicing fluids and high-noise airport and aircraft environments. In addition to maintaining the Class 1 Medical Certificate, the successful candidate must be able to load and unload baggage, perform aircraft pre-flight and post-flight inspections, assist with snow and ice removal, install and remove engine covers, carry out routine aircraft cleaning, and occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 23 kg.
