About This Role
Corporate flight department PIC role for the Seminole Hard Rock Aviation Department, operating airplanes under Part 91/135 to transport passengers domestically and internationally and to perform maintenance testing and other assigned missions. Reports to the Director of Aviation / Chief Pilot. Aircraft is the G-280; based near FLL (Fort Lauderdale).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe conduct of Part 91/135 domestic and international flights ensuring compliance with FAA and ICAO regulations
- conduct Pilot in Command (PIC) duties
- complete required simulator and aircraft training, pass 135 Check ride and maintain 135 PIC Qualifications
- prepare and/or review flight plans and ensure aircraft performance is within tolerances
- review Flight Risk Assessments and determine mitigation
- participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
- comply with schedules and directives governing operation and maintenance
- provide professional customer service to passengers
- maintain flexibility with schedules including weekends, holidays, evenings and days.
Requirements
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- Maintain a First-Class Medical Certificate
- Total Time Fixed Wing: 3000 hours
- PIC: 1500 hours
- Total Jet Time: 1000 hours
- G-280 Type rated and 250 hours on Type (preferred)
- Accident-free history, clean FAA record, no pending investigations
- able to work on an on-call basis (2 hours call out)
- primary residence within a (1) hour drive from FLL or willing to relocate
- valid Passport
- valid FCC Radio Telephone Operator's Permit
- no restrictions on operating the aircraft internationally, both under 91 and 135.
