About This Role
Corporate flight department PIC role for the Seminole Hard Rock Aviation Department, operating airplanes under Part 91/135 to transport passengers domestically and internationally and to perform maintenance testing and other assigned missions. Reports to the Director of Aviation / Chief Pilot. Aircraft is the G-280; based near FLL (Fort Lauderdale).
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the safe conduct of Part 91/135 domestic and international flights ensuring compliance with FAA and ICAO regulations
  • conduct Pilot in Command (PIC) duties
  • complete required simulator and aircraft training, pass 135 Check ride and maintain 135 PIC Qualifications
  • prepare and/or review flight plans and ensure aircraft performance is within tolerances
  • review Flight Risk Assessments and determine mitigation
  • participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
  • comply with schedules and directives governing operation and maintenance
  • provide professional customer service to passengers
  • maintain flexibility with schedules including weekends, holidays, evenings and days.
Requirements
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
  • Maintain a First-Class Medical Certificate
  • Total Time Fixed Wing: 3000 hours
  • PIC: 1500 hours
  • Total Jet Time: 1000 hours
  • G-280 Type rated and 250 hours on Type (preferred)
  • Accident-free history, clean FAA record, no pending investigations
  • able to work on an on-call basis (2 hours call out)
  • primary residence within a (1) hour drive from FLL or willing to relocate
  • valid Passport
  • valid FCC Radio Telephone Operator's Permit
  • no restrictions on operating the aircraft internationally, both under 91 and 135.
