About This Role
Air Methods is hiring a Fixed Wing Pilot for the Life Net PC-12 IFR operation in North Platte, Nebraska, supporting round-the-clock air-medical transport. The pilot determines aircraft and weather suitability, plans and conducts safe flights within the assigned area and complies with FAA rules, company procedures and operational guidance. IFR minimums include 2,500 total hours, 2,000 in category, 1,000 PIC in category, 500 cross-country, 500 turbine, 100 night and 100 hours of actual instrument time, plus the required commercial, instrument and medical certificates. The employer advertises a 7-on/7-off schedule, salary of $82,900-$93,251, additional stipends, off-duty housing, a sign-on bonus and a broad health, retirement, insurance and tuition-assistance package.

Requirements
- Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) Program: 2500 total flight hours with minimum of 2000 flight hours in category.
- 1000 hours PIC in category.
