About This Role
Air Methods seeks experienced Fixed Wing Pilots to operate PC-12 aircraft on air medical transport missions from Omaha, Nebraska. Candidates must have a minimum of 2500 total flight hours with 1000 hours PIC in category, 500 hours of turbine time, and an Instrument rating. This position offers a competitive salary package ranging from $82,900 to $93,251 annually with multiple stipends, comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision insurance, relocation assistance, and a 7-on/7-off schedule with off-duty housing provided.
Requirements
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2500 total flight hours
- Minimum 2000 flight hours in category
- Minimum 1000 hours PIC in category
- Minimum 500 hours of cross-country flight time (at least 50 hours at night)
- Minimum 500 hours of turbine time
- Minimum 100 hours night flight time
- Minimum 100 hours of flight in actual instrument conditions in category
- Instrument rating for category and class of aircraft (ATP rating in category meets this requirement)
- Fixed wing multiengine rating required for twin-engine aircraft
- Commercial single-engine land required for single-engine aircraft
- First or Second Class FAA Medical Certificate required
- Must have flown in category within the previous 24 months
- Weight not to exceed 250 pounds
- Must be less than 70 years old
- Regular scheduled attendance with 7 days on/7 days off (12-hour shifts)
