About This Role
Hera Flight, a corporate business aviation operator based in St. Petersburg, Florida, is seeking First Officers to operate various business jet aircraft. This is a permanent position ideal for pilots with 1500+ total flight hours and 250+ multi-engine hours who are FAA CPL/IR/ME certified and ready for Part 135 operations. The role requires no prior type rating as training is provided, with an 8-on/6-off roster pattern. Candidates must be US-based with legal work authorization, a clean background, and strong communication skills for international charter operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate various business jet aircraft on charter and on-demand missions
- Complete Part 135 required check rides and maintain compliance
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and safety briefings
- Manage crew resource management and international flight operations
- Perform flights to multiple countries per day as needed
- Maintain aircraft logs and flight documentation

Requirements
- Minimum 1500 hours total flight time
- Minimum 250 hours multi-engine time
- FAA Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- Instrument Rating (IR)
- Multi-engine rating (ME)
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Ability to pass FAR Part 135.293 and 135.299 check rides
- Previous Part 135 experience preferred
- No country entering background issues
- Current valid passport
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
- Must pass 10-year criminal background check
- Must pass DMV check with valid driver's license
- Employment verification required
- No history of accidents, incidents, or FAA action within last 5 years
- Legal right to live and work in the United States
- Proficient English communication skills
- Proficient with computer and iPad applications
- Strong customer service skills
- Self-starter mentality
