About This Role
Corporate/business aviation First Officer (with a development path to Captain) role at Jet Aviation's two-Gulfstream flight department based in Teterboro, NJ, operating Gulfstream 500/600 aircraft on domestic and global private-aviation missions. Supports the Pilot-in-Command in the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft while delivering an exceptional client experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports the Pilot-in-Command with safe conduct of the flight.
- Ensure compliance with company-wide reporting protocols and promptly reports any hazardous events.
- Develop the leadership skills, knowledge, judgment and technical ability required of a PIC.
- Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems to include all emergency systems and procedures associated with the aircraft.
- Conduct the required passenger safety briefings.
- Additional duties assigned by the Pilot-In-Command.
- Represent the brand as the face of Jet Aviation.
Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical required. 2,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 500 hours as Pilot in Command, 500 hours Multi-Engine, 100 hours Turbo-Jet. Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles. Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions. High school diploma required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
