About This Role
Entry-level First Officer position in Lockheed Martin’s corporate flight department supporting worldwide Part 91 operations from the Baltimore/Martin State Airport area. The pilot serves as Second-in-Command, assists the Captain with aircraft operation and piloting, maintains proficiency through initial and recurrent flight training, and must be fully competent to assume command when necessary. The role requires FAA ATP minimums, commercial multi-engine privileges with instrument privileges, one year of commercial aviation experience, a first-class medical certificate, a valid US Passport, and residence within two hours’ drive of the airport.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as Second-in-Command of company aircraft and assist the Captain in operating and piloting the aircraft.
- Support the Pilot in Command with pre-flight, flight, and post-flight activities.
- Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in normal, abnormal, and emergency operations through successful completion of initial and recurrent flight training, while remaining fully competent to assume command when necessary.
- Order aircraft catering, stock and clean the aircraft, handle baggage, and support passenger needs.

Requirements
- Basic qualifications include FAA ATP minimums and a commercial multi-engine certificate with instrument privileges, one year of commercial aviation experience, a valid and current first-class medical certificate, and a valid US Passport.
- Candidates must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and must reside within two hours’ drive time of Baltimore/Martin State Airport.
- Pilots who are not already typed on the G280 must sign a one-year retention agreement.
- Desired skills include previous business aviation experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
