Piedmont Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines, is hiring First Officers to fly its Embraer 145 regional jet fleet from crew bases in Philadelphia, PA, Charlotte, NC, and Harrisburg, PA. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate as First Officer on Piedmont Airlines' fleet of Embraer 145 regional jets, flying scheduled services from the Philadelphia, Charlotte, and Harrisburg crew bases as a wholly owned American Airlines regional carrier.
- First Officers can upgrade to Captain after reaching 2,500 total hours and 1,000 Part 121 hours, with Captains flowing to American Airlines mainline after five years of service (or being paid top of scale until they flow).

Requirements
- Applicants must hold an ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with a multi-engine rating.
- The minimum experience is 500 hours total flight time, 50 hours multi-engine time, and 250 hours pilot-in-command, or otherwise meeting the requirements for a Restricted ATP.
- Candidates must also hold a valid United States passport, or a valid passport with authorization to work in the United States, an FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit, a current First-Class Medical Certificate, and a high school diploma or GED.
- Preferred qualifications are a type rating in a Part 25 aircraft and current employment in a pilot position.
