About This Role
Airmedic, a corporate and business aviation operator based in Montreal, is seeking an experienced First Officer to operate Learjet LR-45 aircraft. Candidates must have a minimum of 750 total flight hours with 250 hours multi-engine time and 500 hours IFR experience. A valid Canadian commercial license with instrument and multi-engine ratings is required; type rating training will be provided. This permanent full-time position offers a 14/7 roster with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and life insurance, group RRSP, and free parking, based at YUL/St-Hubert with willingness to work at satellite bases.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Learjet LR-45 aircraft on medical transport missions
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and aircraft systems checks
- Perform crew resource management and safety procedures
- Maintain excellent knowledge of Learjet 45 XR systems and Airmedic-specific procedures
- Complete flight documentation and reports
- Work flexible schedules including weekends and public holidays

Requirements
- Minimum 750 total flight hours
- Minimum 250 hours multi-engine time
- Minimum 500 hours IFR experience
- Valid Canadian commercial pilot license
- Instrument rating (IR)
- Multi-engine rating (ME)
- SAMRA SARON authorization
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English Level 5 proficiency
- ICAO French Level 5 proficiency
- Valid PPC (Proficiency Check) as First Officer on Learjet LR-45
- Valid passport with unrestricted travel authorization outside Canada
- Eligibility to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
- Clean criminal record
- Ability to work 14 consecutive days with shifts up to 14 hours
- Preferred: 250 hours turboprop or jet experience
- Preferred: Previous First Officer experience on Learjet 40 XR
- Preferred: Experience on Learjet 40, 45, 70, and 75 series
