About This Role
Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) is hiring A320-family First Officers based in Alexandria, LA. The role covers safe and on-time operation of the aircraft, with the airline emphasising safety ownership, teamwork and a one-crew culture. Applicants need an FAA Airmen Certificate, an FAA First Class Medical, a valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator's permit and a minimum of 1500 hours total time. An Airbus 320 type rating is preferred but not required. Candidates must already be authorised to work in the United States and able to travel unrestricted to and from the US.
Duties & Responsibilities
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and the safety of crew and passengers Responsible for the airworthiness of the aircraft, weather factors affecting the flight, flight regulations and air traffic control procedures Utilization of all tools and aids designed to provide maximum safety in the air and on the ground Demonstrate safety ownership in every aspect of their responsibilities, performance and behavior to ensure the successful outcome of every flight
