About This Role
ExecuJet Middle East is seeking a First Officer for the Bombardier Global 8000 to fill a vacancy within its Flight Operations division, based out of Dubai, UAE. The role is a full-time, rostered position with leave allocation, operating in a corporate/business aviation environment. The First Officer supports the PIC/Lead Commander in the safe, compliant operation of the aircraft in accordance with the EJME Private Operations Manual (POM/COM), SOPs, and the civil aviation regulations of the aircraft's registry, covering operations, flight duty periods (FDP) and safety. Duties & Responsibilities
- Liaise with PIC / Lead Commander and passengers when an aircraft defect or other operational issue may affect the aircraft's schedule
- Be responsible for the aircraft IAW EJME Private Operations Manual, depending on aircraft registry, including Operations, FDP and Safety
- Ensure the aircraft is operated in accordance with EJME COM or POM, depending on aircraft registry, including SOPs
- Be familiar with company Operational Instructions & Crew Memos and the civil aviation regulations for the aircraft's registry and operate accordingly
- Assist the PIC in ensuring aircraft paperwork is in order and the aircraft is airworthy before departure
- Carry out flight duties in accordance with company SOPs, including procedures, limitations and performance relating to aircraft type
- Confirm safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining continuous independent check of geographical position and safe terrain clearance
- Create a safe and professional on-board environment with emphasis on good CRM
- Ensure passenger travel documents are correct before departure and support the PIC in passenger safety briefings
- Report any fault, failure, malfunction, defect, abnormality, event, incident or accident affecting airworthiness or safe operation via the correct channels
- Comply with all FTL and rest requirements applicable
- Verify synchronization of both EFBs prior to the flight
Requirements
- ATPL with current Type Rating
- 1,500 hours total time
- 1,000 Hours Multi-Engine time
- 500 Hours Jet time
- 200 Hours Time on type
- Corporate/Business Aviation experience required
- Fluency in written and spoken English (additional languages advantageous)
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
