Contour Aviation is seeking a full-time First Officer for its Embraer Regional Jet 135/145 aircraft. The home-based position is associated with Smyrna, Tennessee, supports Part 135 on-demand operations, and requires experienced pilots committed to safety, professionalism, reliable service, and teamwork. The published salary range is $36,000.00 to $70,939.00, with additional incentive opportunities for qualifying trips worked or assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The First Officer must place safety above all operational priorities and operate the Embraer Regional Jet in compliance with Part 135 on-demand regulations.
- Duties include performing all company-assigned work under company policies and manuals, conducting preflight planning, preparing flight plans, supporting safe and reliable flight operations, and providing excellent customer service to passengers.
- The role also requires ensuring aircraft cleanliness and readiness for passenger comfort and safety, complying with uniform and professional appearance standards, maintaining high levels of professionalism and leadership, and completing additional duties assigned by station leadership or company management.

Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old and hold a commercial multi-engine land pilot licence with an instrument airplane rating, a current first-class medical, an English Proficiency Endorsement, and a current passport. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, able to travel internationally, understand, read, and write English, and maintain a driving licence with a good record. The role requires successful completion of a 10-year employment review, criminal-history, reference, and national driving-record checks, drug and alcohol testing, and FAA and company screening requirements. Applicants must have no previous aviation-related accidents or incidents, no excessive checkride failures, strong communication, leadership, organizational, interpersonal, customer-service, and attention-to-detail skills, and the ability to work under stress and tight time constraints. They must be self-motivated team players, able to work nights, weekends, holidays, flexible and varying schedules, routinely lift 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation, and live where they can report within 120 minutes of a dispatch call during assigned duty periods. The required flight experience is 500 hours total time and 25 hours multi-engine time
- preferred experience is 750 hours total time and 50 hours multi-engine time. Preferred qualifications include no more than two checkride failures.
