Contour Aviation is hiring a full-time, home-based First Officer for its Embraer Legacy 600 jet operation in Smyrna, Tennessee. The role operates under Part 135 on-demand regulations and emphasizes safety, professional customer service, disciplined flight planning, aircraft readiness, and compliance with company policies and aviation requirements. Duties & Responsibilities
- The First Officer must place safety above all operational priorities and operate the aircraft in compliance with Part 135 on-demand regulations.
- Responsibilities include completing all company-assigned duties under company policies and manuals, conducting preflight planning, preparing flight plans, providing excellent customer service to passengers, and ensuring the aircraft is clean and ready for passenger comfort and safety.
- The role also requires compliance with uniform and professional appearance standards and completion of additional duties assigned by station leadership or company management.

Requirements
- Applicants must comply with ICAO age restrictions for international travel, be legally authorized to work in the United States, hold a current valid passport, and be able to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Required qualifications include a valid driver's license with a good driving record, fluent English, an English Proficiency Endorsement, polished customer-facing communication, leadership, organization, time-management, teamwork, and independent working skills.
- Candidates must pass DOT pre-employment and FAA/company random drug and alcohol testing, a 10-year employment verification, criminal history and TSA fingerprint checks, and must meet OSHA, EPA, state, and federal requirements.
- A current FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate is required, as is the ability to lift 75 pounds routinely.
- Candidates must have no excessive check ride failures and no previous aviation-related accidents or incidents.
- The posting accepts either an FAA commercial certificate with instrument and multi-engine ratings or an ATP certificate with a multi-engine rating.
- Required flight experience is 1,000 hours of Second in Command total time, 500 hours of Pilot in Command time, 25 hours of multi-engine land time, and 75 hours of instrument time.
- Spanish proficiency is a plus but is not required.
