About This Role
Summit Air is seeking experienced Dash 8 First Officers to join their Calgary, AB base, operating charter and cargo flights across Canada. Based in Yellowknife, NWT, Summit Air specializes in passenger charters, cargo transport, and customized aviation solutions for remote and northern operations, with one of Canada's largest and most diverse fleets. Candidates must hold a current Canadian ATPL, minimum 1000 total flight hours with 500 multi-engine hours, and a Dash 8 type rating. Requirements
- Current Canadian ATPL or written IATRA
- Minimum 1000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 500 hours multi-engine time
- Current type rating on the Dash 8 preferred
- Ability to obtain Canadian Area Identity Card (RAIC)
- BC and Mountain experience is an asset
- Strong commitment to safety culture
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
