About This Role
First Officer position with Endeavor Air, a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines operating as Delta Connection. Endeavor and Delta run the Propel Career Path, giving Endeavor pilots a direct, contractual path toward a future Delta Air Lines career. The airline flies roughly 750 daily flights to 122 destinations across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean, is headquartered in Minneapolis, and maintains hub operations in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit, Minneapolis, New York, and Raleigh-Durham with 11 maintenance bases. First-year First Officer pay is $105.08 per credit hour. The role includes the same commuter policy Delta pilots enjoy and company-sponsored ATP-CTP training assistance for well-qualified candidates.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of company policy and manuals, FAA regulations, Operations Specifications, and other technical data relevant to aircraft operations.
- Keep current with medical, training, and hourly flight requirements.
- Exercise superior judgment to conduct safe and efficient flights while maintaining professional conduct, decorum, and appearance.
- Stay aware of crew legality requirements and promptly notify the Chief Pilot's Office when status is in question.
- Maintain required communication with maintenance and dispatch during flights, and provide crew communication and incident reports to the Base Chief Pilot's Office when required.
- Attend company training events to maintain currency, ensure passenger safety and comfort, provide relevant informational updates to passengers, adhere to the approved company uniform and flight kit per the Flight Operations Manual (FOM), report any information regarding the safety of flight, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Current FAA First Class Medical certificate
- FCC (Federal Communication Commission) Radio License
- must hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or have the ability to obtain an ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP). Applicants are encouraged to apply within one year of meeting the applicable total flight time and ATP/R-ATP minimum requirements
- applying significantly earlier may not be considered qualified, and meeting the minimums does not guarantee an interview or class placement. Must be at least 21 years old
- hold a high school diploma or GED (a four-year college degree in aviation is preferred)
- be legally authorized to work in the United States
- read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- be able to work any shift including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- hold a valid passport and be authorized to travel to any country served by Endeavor Air
- and pass a comprehensive company, FAA, and DOT pre-employment screening, criminal background check, drug test, motor vehicle driving record (MVR), and PRIA records check.
