About This Role
Smart Aviation is recruiting newly licensed Commercial Pilot License holders for a First Officer program on the Cessna C208 Caravan in Indonesia. The program is designed to start a commercial flying career in regional and remote operations connecting areas such as Papua and Kalimantan. Successful applicants must complete self-funded Cessna C208 type-rating training through Smart Aviation’s own training organisation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The First Officer program is associated with Cessna C208 Caravan operations supporting regional and remote flying in Indonesia, including connections to Papua and Kalimantan.
- The role provides an entry route into commercial flying and requires the successful applicant to complete Cessna C208 type-rating training through Smart Aviation’s own training organisation before building experience in these challenging operating environments.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold an ab-initio Commercial Pilot License, be Indonesian citizens, be no older than 30, and be unmarried. The posting also requires applicants to be non-smokers, including users of e-cigarettes and vapes
- at least 160 cm tall
- proficient in English at ICAO Level 4 or higher with the certificate attached
- free from any employment contract
- willing to undergo self-funded Cessna C208 type-rating training at Smart Aviation’s own training organisation
- and holders of a valid Class 1 medical certificate (Medex).
