About This Role
Contour Aviation is seeking an experienced First Officer to operate Bombardier Canadair Regional Jet CRJ200 aircraft in its Flight Operations Department. The role supports safe and reliable Part 135 on-demand operations and requires professionalism, leadership, teamwork, customer focus, and a strong commitment to operational excellence. The position is home based in Smyrna, Tennessee, with current and potential domicile assignments discussed during the interview process.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The First Officer must place safety above all operational priorities and operate the CRJ200 in compliance with Part 135 on-demand regulations.
- Responsibilities include performing all company-assigned duties in accordance with company policies and manuals, conducting preflight planning, preparing flight plans, and supporting safe and reliable flight operations.
- The role also includes providing excellent passenger service, ensuring the aircraft is clean and ready for passenger comfort and safety, complying with uniform and professional appearance standards, working collaboratively as part of the flight crew, and completing additional duties assigned by station leadership or company management.

Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver license with a good driving record, maintain a current passport and first-class medical, and possess a commercial multi-engine land license with an instrument airplane rating. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, able to travel internationally, and able to understand, read, and write English. They must hold an English Proficiency Endorsement, pass the required employment, criminal-history, reference, driving-record, drug and alcohol checks, and have no previous aviation-related accidents or incidents. They must be able to lift 75 pounds routinely, maintain a residence allowing them to report within 120 minutes of a dispatch call during assigned duty periods, and have no excessive check ride failures. Required flight experience is 500 total hours and 25 multi-engine hours
- preferred experience is 750 total hours and 50 multi-engine hours. No more than two check ride failures is preferred.
