About This Role
Luxair is hiring a Boeing 737 First Officer in Luxembourg for scheduled and charter passenger services across the airline's network. The pilot shares responsibility for safe and reliable flight operations, passenger wellbeing and effective coordination with the crew, air traffic control and ground teams. Candidates need unrestricted EU/EFTA work rights, a Part-FCL ATPL or CPL/IR with frozen ATPL, a valid Class 1 medical and ICAO English Level 4 or higher. Luxair accepts either a current Boeing 737 type rating or at least 2,000 hours of airline flying under EASA operations, and knowledge of Luxembourgish, French or German is advantageous.
Duties & Responsibilities
- As a pilot with Luxair, you will be responsible for operating scheduled and charter flights on our network.
- You will take all necessary steps to ensure a safe and reliable operation.
- Together with your fellow crew-members, you will be responsible for the safety and well-being of our esteemed passengers.
- You will also be establishing positive relationships with other parties involved in flight operations like Air Traffic Control and Ground Operations and others to ensure a smooth operation.
Requirements
- Minimum required criteria: Have the unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union (EU)/European Free Trade Association (EFTA).
- Part-FCL (European) ATPL license (or CPL/IFR with frozen ATPL).
- Current Type Rating Boeing 737 or at least 2000 hours flying with an airline under EASA OPS.
- Valid class 1 medical.
- Secondary school leaving qualification entitling to university access in the country it was issued and/or a recognized university diploma.
- Very good command of the English language, ELP 4 or higher.
- Height over 156 cm.
- The ideal candidate: Command of one or more of the official languages of Luxembourg (Luxembourgish, French and /or German).
